Sun Tan City is one of the largest family-owned tanning salon chains in the country, and they are seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure their equipment and facilities are well-maintained. The role involves repairing tanning equipment, managing inventory, and maintaining the overall appearance of the salons.

Responsibilities

Position may require two weeks of out-of-town training. (Expenses paid.)

The Maintenance Technician will be required to be at a salon by 7:00am each morning, Monday thru Friday

Repair and maintain UV and Sunless tanning equipment

Maintain overall appearance of assigned facilities

Complete monthly parts inventory in company vehicle

Must be available for alternating On Call shifts with other technicians

Manage Daily/Weekly reports and schedule accordingly

Track and record monthly expense reports

Work with Salon staff and others to uphold Sun Tan City policies and requirements

Complete weekly lamp changes in tanning equipment

Ability to work 5 days per week, and approximately a 40-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status

Required

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Driver's License with clean driving record

Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building materials

Ability to read schematics is a plus

Must be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised in a team environment

Accurate and attentive to detail while having the ability to manage time effectively

Excellent customer service skills

Must be well organized
