Responsibilities
Lead tax compliance across multiple investment vehicles, including partnerships and other real estate-related entities
Assist in tax structuring and planning for acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, and fund formations
Manage relationships with external tax advisors and ensure accuracy and timeliness of filings and deliverables
Collaborate with investment, legal, finance, and accounting teams to align tax considerations with deal execution and fund strategy
Coordinate K-1 and tax return processes for both entity-level and investor-level reporting
Implement and maintain internal processes to streamline tax-related workflows and improve operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
7+ years of relevant experience in real estate tax
Deep understanding of partnership tax, REITs, real estate fund structures, and investment vehicles
Strong tax technical skills combined with commercial judgment and a strategic mindset
Exceptional communication and project management abilities
Preferred
CPA and/or MST preferred
