Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of assigned electrical construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations in alignment with company objectives
Lead project kickoff meetings and coordinate across estimating, prefabrication, field supervision, and safety teams
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring open communication and customer satisfaction
Oversee project documentation, including change orders, submittals, RFIs, and progress reports
Collaborate with the estimating team to support bid reviews and ensure scope alignment
Monitor job cost performance and forecast project financials to meet profitability goals
Drive safety and quality standards on all job sites through consistent communication and enforcement of company policies
Mentor and develop project engineers, assistant PMs, and field leaders
Partner with leadership on continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery, preconstruction planning, and client relationships
Qualification
Required
8+ years of progressive project management experience within the electrical contracting industry
Proven track record leading industrial, commercial, or oil & gas electrical projects from $1M–$10M+
Strong knowledge of NEC codes, Class 1 Div 1/Div 2 installations, and industrial automation systems
Experience managing prefabrication workflows, design/build, and design-assist delivery models
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to travel to job sites within North Dakota and Montana as needed
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and estimating or ERP systems preferred
