They are seeking a Senior Employment Attorney to manage their own docket of employment law cases from inception through trial, lead courtroom strategy, and engage with clients to shape case strategy.

Responsibilities
Manage your own docket of employment law cases from inception through trial
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs
Take and defend depositions
Appear in court to argue motions and advocate for clients
Engage with clients and help shape case strategy
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations
Assist in trial preparation and serve as second chair where applicable
Qualification
Required
Active CA Bar membership
3+ years plaintiff-side employment litigation
Deposition experience required; trial experience strongly preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage cases independently, lead strategy, and mentor junior attorneys
