Responsibilities

Lead and oversee traffic engineering deliverables including studies, intersection analyses, signal design/timing, safety analyses, and MOT/TMP plans

Review modeling and analysis (Synchro, VISSIM, Vistro, etc.) to ensure accuracy and sound assumptions

Interface with state and local DOTs, traffic reviewers, and municipalities; present findings in public meetings

Mentor junior traffic engineers and establish training and technical standards

Lead business development: scope, price, and secure traffic-related projects

Maintain standards for traffic work, keeping up with regulatory and industry changes

Evaluate and integrate new tools and workflows into traffic practice
