Mechanisms Technician II, Second Shift

The Mechanisms Technician II will collaborate with engineering teams to assemble and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies, ensuring successful daily operations in the manufacturing of the Terran R vehicle.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering teams on building the 1st Terran R mechanism assemblies
Follow precise work instructions to successfully complete build operations
Assemble and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies using a variety of hand tools and test equipment
Work closely with a team of technicians to successfully execute daily operations

Qualification

Aerospace mechanical experienceElectro-mechanical systemsCalibrated tools proficiencyWiringHarnessingAerospace standards knowledgeTeam collaborationAttention to detailProblem-solving

Required

2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field
Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environments with flight hardware
Proficient in using calibrated tools such as torque wrenches and precision inspection equipment
Experience in the building and testing of electro-mechanical systems
Experience in wiring, harnessing, and avionics
Proficiency of relevant aerospace industry standards and specifications, showcasing strong attention to detail and concern for product quality

Preferred

Experience with electrical testing, high and low voltage
Experience troubleshooting electrical mechanical assemblies
Airframe and Powerplant license
