Territory Sales Manager - Midwest

PI Industries Ltd is a technology leader in agricultural biologicals, seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Midwest region. The role involves collaborating with distributors to execute business plans and identify additional sales opportunities for PHC products.

Responsibilities

Work with Distributors to develop Regional Plans to sell PHC products
Provide Distributors with Sales information, technical support, and firsthand expertise to sell PHC products to Growers
Design side-by-side grower trials to help distributors sell PHC products
Identify opportunities for additional PHC product sales on new crops and new distributor partners
Work closely with technical sales to evaluate additional ideas and opportunities for PHC product sales
Work closely with the technical sales team for additional data collection on proof of concept and new sales opportunities that have been identified
Work with key influencers to help bring awareness and drive PHC products
Attend Regional trade shows and regional meetings to help get the PHC information into growers' and retailers’ hands
Use key contacts to drive PHC sales within the region

Required

A Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture production or a related field
3-5 years of experience in field development activities
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
Knowledge of Contact Management systems; Internet software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
