Responsibilities

Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems in a UI-focused role, taking primary responsibility for developing and enhancing front-end applications while also contributing to back-end integration and other system functionality
Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle
Participate in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization
Utilize programming languages like C#, Dart, and SQL along with supporting frameworks and platforms (e.g., .Net, Flutter), NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and services
Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams
Build product definition and leverage your technical skills to drive towards the right solution

Required

Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems
Fluency with C# or similar languages
Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe)
In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms
Understanding of existing Operational Portals such as Azure Portal
Understanding of HTML-5, JavaScript/TypeScript, XML, JSON, and RESTful Web Services
Understanding of Monitoring Tools such as Titan or Application Insights
Intermediate PowerShell scripting skills
Intermediate level understanding of Azure Network such as security zones, VNETs, and Public Peered Services
Understanding of Azure PaaS and IaaS services
Strong problem-solving ability
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication)
2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience in C# and .NET frameworks
2+ years of experience with architecture and design
2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
Must be able to use a PC
Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
Must be able to multi-task
Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information, and follow processes that have been published
Must be knowledgeable of software coding and following standards and processes that have been published and the guidelines for the design
Must be able to provide system training to team members as needed
Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, professional oral or written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers and other employees of the organization
Must be able to perform under pressure and stressful situations
May be required to be on call for production support
Must be able to concentrate and demonstrate a capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quickly
Must demonstrate experience in front-end development and user experience (UX), collaborating closely with designers and product managers
