They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support ongoing process improvement and quality initiatives, contributing to key engineering projects and gaining hands-on experience in the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Support engineering team in Copper Plating DOE (Design of Experiments)
Participate in the After Shave Scratch Mitigation Project to improve surface quality
Contribute to Safety Guarding Initiatives, including potential CAD support or expansion of current safety systems
Assist with documenting and standardizing key manufacturing processes
Provide project management and reporting support for ongoing engineering projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in productivity, safety, and quality
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Technology or Industrial Engineering program (junior or senior level preferred)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
Comfortable working in an industrial or metals processing environment (not office-based)
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with a high degree of independence
Preferred
Experience or coursework in CAD (SolidWorks or AutoCAD preferred)
Prior internship or hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
