Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models

Program, set up, and operate CNC multi-axis milling and turning machines

Design, spec out, and implement various work holding and fixture methods

Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments during the manufacturing process

Perform quality control checks during and at the completion of the manufacturing process

Required

5+ years of experience as a programmer using CAM software such as Esprit or hyperMill (willing to train)

5+ years of experience as a machine setup/operator

Clear understanding of G and M code

High level of familiarity with multi-axis and 3D machining

Experience with 5-axis milling, live tooling lathes, mill-turns, and/or multi-task machines

Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Brother controls

High level of familiarity with various alloys, metals, and plastics

High level of tooling and fixture experience

High level of GD&T knowledge

Ability to take ownership of the entire manufacturing process from start to finish

Ability to adapt between R&D and short production

Ability to multi-task

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data

Preferred

Esprit or hyperMill CAM experience

Experience with 5-axis simultaneous programming

Experience with Siemens NX CAD (Teamcenter)
