Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is a world leader in interconnect solutions for various electronics markets. They are seeking a Signal Integrity Engineering Intern to assist in the design, processing, and analysis of testing results, while supporting the Automation Engineering group.

Responsibilities

This role supports the Automation Engineering group. Job functions will include assisting in writing scope of work documents, designing, processing and analysis of testing results, and deploying tooling and automation

Gain Experience!

Design, simulation, characterization, and application of highspeed electrical connectors, backplane systems and cable-based interconnect

Circuit and PCB layout, EM understanding, and signal integrity issues in PCB layout

Testing of highspeed interconnect products using VNA or TDR equipment and other general laboratory functions

Helping customers solving their highspeed data transmission problems

Collaborate with internal Sales Engineers on strategies for products at existing and new accounts

Required

A strong candidate will have completed their sophomore or junior year in Electrical Engineering or Physics

Frequency-domain and time-domain component and circuit characterization including understanding of test and calibration methods

Preferred

Experience with signal integrity and simulation/analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS and Designer, CST Microwave, HSPICE, MatLab, and ADS is a plus but not required
