Defense Analyst (On Hold)
GeoLogics Corporation is seeking a Cyber Defense Analyst for Raytheon Technologies, a role focused on tactical risk management. The analyst will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and assessing cyber risks, collaborating with risk owners, and supporting remediation efforts.
Responsibilities
Preferred experience with Archer and Sharepoint tools
The role is 80% centered around issues management (tactical risk management)
Risk Identification and Documentation: Identify, document, and categorize digital and cyber risks in RTX's authoritative source of record (Archer), ensuring accurate and detailed entries
Collaboration with Risk Owners: Engage with risk owners to understand the nature and impact of identified risks, providing guidance on risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct detailed risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and impact of cyber risks, ensuring alignment with organizational risk management frameworks
Remediation Planning: Collaborate with risk owners to develop and finalize risk remediation plans that address identified gaps and vulnerabilities in a timely manner
Status Tracking and Updates: Regularly follow up with risk owners to monitor the progress of remediation activities and update the status in the authoritative source of record
Reporting and Communication: Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports on risk status, trends, and remediation progress to stakeholders, including leadership and cybersecurity teams
Support for Audits and Reviews: Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation, evidence, and updates related to the management of digital risks
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance risk management processes and tools, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in addressing digital risks
Remediation Support: Provide guidance and advice to risk owners about effective risk mitigating controls
Support operational and enterprise risk management functions to prepare key deliverables
Support digital risk transformation efforts (Sharepoint to Archer migration)
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
