Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC is seeking a Security Systems Specialist to support the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP). The primary role involves assisting in the administration of physical security systems and ensuring their proper functionality through monitoring and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily system performance to ensure proper functionality and must possess or obtain sufficient understanding of Site systems to assist end users in performing basic troubleshooting to restore functionality during system disruptions
If necessary, liaise with and support cognizant engineers or other technical experts to resolve issues which are beyond the scope of basic troubleshooting
Assist in developing training for end users, including providing demonstrations as necessary
Perform routine tests of security systems
Must have or obtain sufficient understanding of manufacture’s specifications and site requirements to provide their supervisor and S&S management with information necessary to make decisions on compliance, significant issue resolution, and lifecycle sustainment
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree, or
Associate's degree with four (4) years of professional experience, or
High School Diploma or Equivalency with eight (8) years of professional experience is required
Must be technologically proficient
United States Citizenship
Must be able to obtain and maintain a 'Q' Clearance

Preferred

Active 'Q' Clearance
Certification or experience with CCure 9000 System
Software House AC9410 System Managers
Software House AC9006 Advanced System Managers
Avigilon Control Center experience
