They are seeking a Field Applications Engineering Intern to gain experience in engineering, sales, and product development while supporting technical aspects of the sales cycle and providing customer service for interconnect problems.

Responsibilities

Training on Amphenol products and services

Develop your professional experience through exposure to executive management and mentorship opportunities

Learn industry market knowledge by collaborating with peers and internal sales team on strategic initiatives for customers

Exposure to the latest and greatest technology for interconnect solutions

Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle

Provide technical marketing support for the development and implementation of AICC products

Prepare materials and participate in product presentations

Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and technical inquiries

Help devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from our competitors

Some local travel will be required

Required

The ideal candidate would be pursuing their Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering field

The role will draw on either your electronic engineering background (signal transmission, DSP, EMI/EMC, signal integrity) and / or your mechanical engineering background (materials, tolerance analysis, CAD tools)

Preferred

Knowledge of interconnect solutions industry is a plus
