The Employer Engagement & Job Placement Specialist will connect graduates with employers in the construction and energy sectors, fostering relationships and facilitating job placement efforts.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with employers in the construction, energy efficiency, and buildings operations/maintenance arena

Meet regularly with ACI students to assess job readiness and match them with the right employment opportunities

Conduct employer outreach through calls, events, and site visits to expand ACI’s network of hiring partners

Coordinate job fairs and recruitment events to connect employers with skilled program graduates

Support participants through resume reviews/modifications, interview coaching, and mock interviews

Enter case notes and track placement metrics in a timely manner to document client progress and organization progress and drive ongoing quality management

Collaborate with social service and training teams to ensure ongoing support for jobseekers post-placement

Work collaboratively with team members to insure organization-wide placement goals, presently at 80-85% of graduates

Required

Proven ability to engage employers and match candidates effectively to open roles

Experience in business development, employer engagement, workforce development and/or business to business sales (construction industry strongly preferred)

Working knowledge of DOB and OSHA certification processes

Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to follow-through

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience considered

Familiarity with energy efficiency and green construction standards preferred
