Manager, Feature and Attraction Development
EAA Radio is seeking a Manager for Feature and Attraction Development to support the VP of Communities and Member Programs in creating engaging features for AirVenture. The role involves collaboration across various departments and managing the planning and execution of events and attractions.

Responsibilities
As needed, position will collaborate across the organization including internal departments (Marketing, Museum, Education, Air Operations, Business Development, Finance and Facilities), with volunteer groups, contractors, performers, military and government
Conduct research on significant anniversaries related to military, aircraft, and notable aviation events to assist in development of relevant features and attractions
Chair monthly AV Communications and SIC Features and Attractions meetings
Attend and support all relevant features and attractions planning meetings including:
+ Monthly features and attractions planning meetings
+ AV production meetings
+ Individual theme development meetings
+ Plaza planning calls
+ Air show /operations meetings
+ FIT planning meetings
+ TITW planning meetings
Attend volunteer chair calls and provide updates on features & attractions as needed
Create and maintain currency of relevant action registers as assigned or needed
Spearhead development of various AirVenture themes as assigned
Provide support to Plaza planning and execution process by:
+ Coordinating aircraft movements from other areas on site (warbirds, vintage, homebuilts) to Plaza
+ Assisting with hotel and transportation requirements as needed
+ Communications with various plaza aircraft operators / owners
During AirVenture provide support to Hillard Ops as well as other areas as needed
Support Air Show and Air Ops planning as needed and as assigned
Assist in development of AirVenture related budgets and AV price setting
Function as staff liaison for Veterans Parade and Honor Flight
Will participate as required in Oshkosh Advisory Team meetings
Participate and represent EAA at annual conventions, such as Sun ‘N Fun, at the request of EAA
Embrace and support the EAA mission and perform safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in aviation, business, or related field
Extensive project management
Up to 10% travel, as requested by EAA
Private Pilot
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Highly organized, goal-oriented, self-starter, professional, confident, and flexible
Strong attention to detail
