Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring safety and security through monitoring, inspections and reporting of any suspicious activity
Responsible for maintaining daily logs, handling phone calls and securing buildings
Fulfills requests for escorts, follows emergency procedures and performs safety inspections
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
At least 1-2 years of security experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
A demonstrated understanding of computers, electronic equipment, and security systems
The ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and professional journals
The ability to write reports and/or business correspondences
The ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
Ability to communicate in and understand English to the extent necessary to fulfill/perform the essential job functions
Preferred
Military and/or Law Enforcement experience preferred but not required
