Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Physician

The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education is seeking a compassionate Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Physician with a focus on Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics to join their multidisciplinary healthcare team. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care, conducting developmental evaluations, and collaborating with various specialists to support children and families with complex needs.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting
Conduct developmental and behavioral evaluations, including assessment of developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning differences, and neurodevelopmental conditions
Create individualized care plans in partnership with families and interdisciplinary providers
Coordinate referrals and collaborate with speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, social work, and educational services
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and care coordination programs
Provide ongoing education and support to patients, families, caregivers, and community partners
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
Optional involvement in teaching learners (medical students, residents, fellows) depending on interest
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based care pathways

Required

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency program
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
Demonstrated interest or experience in developmental and behavioral pediatrics (formal fellowship is welcome but not required)
Eligible for medical licensure in [State]
Excellent communication, collaboration, and family-centered care skills

Strong organizational and follow-through abilities
