Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain complex software systems
Improving system quality/stability by applying best practices and avoiding anti-patterns
Enhancing applications through data analysis and application performance reviews
Provide strong peer code reviews
Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs
Maintain the security of the company data and applications using security best practices
Create strong technical documentation of proposed and implemented solutions
Monitoring system performance and providing support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Science, or similar fields
In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithm
2+ years as a Software Development Engineer, Application Developer, or similar role
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as React, .NET, or C# including object-oriented design
Strong problem-solving ability and object-oriented design skills
Strong skills in documentation and diagraming for solutions
Strong cross-functional communication skills to be a key team player
Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
Proficiency with Azure cloud computing concepts including design, provisioning, and deploying
Preferred
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or similar fields
Experience operating highly available services
Knowledge of identity and authorization systems (OAuth, SAML)
Strong aptitude for keeping up to date with emerging technologies
Microsoft Azure Cloud experience a plus
