Amazon Connect Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

Lead development for CCaaS implementations on client projects
Ownership and responsibility for end-to-end solution development including:
Routing strategy
Experiment with LLM APIs and agentic AI frameworks to introduce intelligent automation, summarization, and agent-assist capabilities
API approach and external data integrations
Design and maintain reusable code libraries
Advise on testing strategy and provide input into test plans
Ability to communicate how the CCaaS platform works and how it can be applied to solving business needs
Hands-on experience in the development for contact center solutions
Experience helping build client use cases, requirements, designs and test plans
Experience should include people and team management, enterprise architecture and technical leadership

Required

3 or more years' experience with Amazon Connect (Lambda, DynamoDB, Cloud Formation etc.) and UC environments
Experience with software development, to include design, custom and common coding (JavaScript, Python, Java, C++), and testing of real time systems
Implementation of AWS Cloud contact center solutions
Work with customer IT Architecture team to design the end-to-end solution and provide technology guidance
Discuss migration efforts in cloud contact center and aid as the Subject Matter Expert in the migration and deployment of the solutions
Provide solution optimization and process improvement with unique template IVR and interaction routing
Network infrastructure experience
Experience creating and presenting to executive level stakeholders (technical and non-technical)

Preferred

Experience with LLM integration, prompt engineering, or AI-driven automation
Knows the Lex Interface well and is a Developer
AWS developer certification
AWS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or engineering
