Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders

Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery

Provide technical guidance and support to project team members

Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders

Required

6+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles

Proven track record of successfully delivering engineering projects on time and within budget

Strong leadership and project management skills

Experience in risk management and problem-solving

Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies

Strong understanding of software lifecycle processes and certification standards such as DO-178C

Familiarity with safety-critical systems and certification processes (e.g., DAL levels, FAA/EASA compliance)

Familiarity with tools like JIRA, DOORS NG, Bitbucket and configuration management system

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical deliverables

Familiarity with software verification and validation, including test planning and execution
