Program Manager Part-Time
Morehouse College is seeking a Program Manager for their Center for Excellence in Education to support teacher certification recruitment and implementation. The role involves monitoring certification program requirements, tracking teacher candidate data, and providing updates for grant reports.

Responsibilities
Support in the recruitment of teacher candidates with a focus on high-needs content areas and schools (including high school outreach)
Create and maintain internal data management system to track teacher candidates as they are recruited, enrolled, and working as alumni
Liaise with Professional Standards Commission to make appropriate updates to programming and requirements for certification
Evaluate certification requirements for other states in which students plan to teach
Collect required artifacts for teacher certification and submit to the authorizing agency
Develop materials and systems to support students in completing requirements (including development/maintenance of Watermark portfolio system)
Participate in trainings and meetings with the authorization entity to implement best practices in teacher certification requirements
Create quarterly reports on the program’s performance against stated grant goals
Collect and document artifacts to demonstrate the program’s alignment to funding objectives
Co-author quarterly reports to the federal government
Participate in required governmental trainings to support grant implementation and reporting
Qualification
Required
Graduate degree in Education and/or state teacher certification
Data management and minor programming skills (to create and manage data, program tracking systems like Watermark, PSC PRS system, etc.)
Strong written communication and organizational skills
Capacity to participate in external authorizer requirements, manage databases, organize and submit regular reports independently
Capacity to establish appropriate benchmarks and timelines to achieve outcomes as articulated in grant documents
Effectively multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Candidacy management tools (Watermark, TPMS) to effectively track participant progress and liaise with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission on behalf of Morehouse Teacher Candidates
Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and relationship-building skills with all levels of the organization
High level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines
Data dashboard development, creation of data visualizations
Microsoft Office 360
Preferred
Two or more years working in the K-12 certification system (GaPSC) or similar agency from another state
Two or more years of demonstrated success managing a program with grant reporting responsibilities
Two or more years managing programs with certification, authorization requirements
