Responsibilities

Requirements Engineering, Implementation, and Verification
Translate customer requirements into actionable software requirements
Design and implement software solutions that meet performance, safety, and reliability standards
Conduct low-level verification activities to ensure compliance with DO-178B/C
Review software design and code to confirm alignment with software requirements
Generate, execute, and review test scripts and data for software verification
Create documentation to support aerospace certification processes
Propose enhancements to improve the cost, quality, and efficiency of software products
Develop and execute build procedures for hardware and software integration
Establish and maintain software configuration management and quality standards
Mentor and train software engineers in tools, processes, and industry best practices

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Preferred

Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience with aerospace or other safety-critical embedded systems
Expertise in designing and developing embedded software architectures for real-time systems
Hands-on experience with DO-178B/C processes, including software verification and compliance
Proven ability to lead projects across functional teams and geographic locations
Proficiency in software debugging, instrumentation, and performance analysis
Programming experience in C, Assembly, and/or Python
Familiarity with tools such as logic analyzers and other lab test equipment
Experience with software verification testing
