Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the City’s wastewater treatment facilities and staff
Oversee maintenance, safety, compliance, and performance metrics (because “good enough” doesn’t cut it)
Plan for future infrastructure needs — think ahead so the flow never slows
Lead, mentor, and motivate a skilled team that takes pride in keeping Lake Havasu beautiful and healthy
Work cross-departmentally on city initiatives and improvement projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with coursework in engineering, environmental science, or related field
6+ years' experience in wastewater treatment and collection
3-5 years supervisory experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Possession of Grade IV Wastewater Collection System Operator and Grade IV Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certifications issued by Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) at hire
Valid Driver License of appropriate class
