They are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer, PE to prepare and review construction documents, perform hydrologic modeling, and lead design teams on site development projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review construction documents and permit submittals

Assume responsible charge for the overall economic well-being of assigned project designs

Perform hydrologic modeling and stormwater runoff calculations

Conduct horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, and cross-sectional design

Demonstrate proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, sediment and erosion control, sanitary and storm sewer design, hydraulic modeling, and post-construction stormwater management system design while working with various regulatory agencies

Effectively communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with diverse teams across design disciplines to achieve a superior work product, including the documentation of design changes

Lead small/moderate design teams on site development-specific projects

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification

5+ years of working experience as a Civil Engineer

Experience in site and land development, light to moderate roadway/access drive design, utility infrastructure design, and stormwater management design

Excellent technical writing and communication skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrology/hydraulic calculation software

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, OneNote, Planner, Project, etc.)

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
