Responsibilities

Preparing right-of-way plans, detailed roadway designs, drainage solutions, floodplain management strategies, and intersection improvements
Collaborating with environmental scientists, utility locators, and surveyors to meet stringent requirements and address maintenance and improvement needs
Using CADD to create various engineering drawings, layouts, and models that effectively communicate project details in accordance with established standards and procedures
Actively participating in project meetings, contributing expertise and insights to ensure successful project outcomes

Required

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a closely related field
Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably MicroStation/OpenRoads/Geopak)

Preferred

Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a closely related field
Previous experience design or transportation-related coursework
Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or on track to obtain within 6 months
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
