Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

Inside sales reps will work alongside a team of other inside sales colleagues in a shared office environment
Communicate with customers making outbound calls to potential and existing customers and following up on leads
Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities
Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information per email
Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer
Keep up with products, service information and updates
Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
Stay informed about competing products and services
Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers
Researching and qualifying new leads
Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates
Up selling of our product and services
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Must be able to manage multiple priorities in an organized manner while still maintaining professional and respectful working relationships with customers and colleagues
Provide customer sales support, directly and at times with Sales Representatives
Write and maintain accurate, up-to-date files for all customer related activities
May assist sales representative and coordinate efforts in support of those customers requiring assistance
May schedule and track first article through final approval on all new orders and EC’s
Support and assist in the consolidation of information related to major bid packages
Manage customer survey requests as required
Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve customer issues
Obtain quotes and pricing on certain jobs and required tooling
May establish and provide pricing information in support other outside sales reps
Prepare correspondence, presentations, and required monthly reports
May manage and coordinate customer calls and walk – ins that have not been assigned to outside sales rep
Manage a group of specific accounts via telephone
Assist Marketing Team with development of company literature, website design and website maintenance
Maintain a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for others
Maintain a working knowledge and is in full compliance with corporate standards for business conduct and Federal anti-trust laws
Manages incoming project requests for assigned customers
Submits clear and comprehensive Project Request Sheets to obtain company formal quotes that accurately reflect the customer requests
Communicate and explain formal quotes to customers to ensure they have a full understanding of the formal quote agreement and what it entails
Effectively deliver price adjustments to customers
Learn, understand, and follow the Sandler selling process successfully manage sales projects and properly qualify all aspects of the sale and customer needs
Perform other incidental and related duties as requires and assigned
Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve issues
Maintain a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for others
Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding plant or employee concerns
Maintain a working knowledge and is in full compliance with corporate standards for business conduct and Federal anti-trust laws

Qualification
Required
AS degree in business or 5 years' experience in sales or customer service
Strong communication, math, and organizational skills, required
Advanced level computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Specifically, knowledge and demonstrated experience in working with large quantities of data using multifaceted functions such as PivotTables, complex formulas, data linking and protection, configuration, tables, and charts, etc
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, and the position requires long hours and some weekend work
May be required to travel during the business day, although some out-of-area overnight travel may be required
