Responsibilities

Provide development support, conceptual design and owner’s engineer services to clients including performing technical evaluations of electric power generation projects and facilities

Support project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract development

Conduct engineering design reviews, technical due diligence, project development support, and conceptual design

Required

This position requires a BS in mechanical or electrical engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program with a strong academic background

7 or more years of relevant power plant and heavy industrial control systems experience, specifically: Simple cycle gas turbines, Combined cycle projects, Coal fired generation, or Reciprocating engines (RICE)

An understanding of the practical application of instrumentation and controls engineering and technology including applying systems, principles, techniques, and procedures to a project design

Experience with DCS, TCS, and/or PLCs programming

Experience reading and creating logic diagrams and control narratives

Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of technical plans, drawings, and models

Proficiency with MS Office applications

Excellent technical communication and writing skills are required
