Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using AWS services
Lead customer engagements to understand business needs and translate them into actionable technical designs and implementations
Provide hands-on development and prototyping using AWS-native tools and services
Guide and mentor technical teams, ensuring alignment with best practices and architectural standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, platform engineering, application development teams, information security (infosec), and release management to ensure solution delivery
Configure and support shared platform services to enable consistent, scalable capabilities across domains
Develop and promote reusable implementation patterns for adoption by development teams to accelerate delivery and ensure architectural consistency
Qualification
Required
8+ years of cloud architecture experience with a strong focus on AWS
Proven ability to lead technical engagements and drive customer success
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Minimum certification requirement: AWS Solutions Architect – Associate
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Experience with GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence for source control, issue tracking, and documentation
Understanding of security and compliance frameworks relevant to financial services
Expertise in AWS data and integration services including: Athena, Glue, Lake Formation, Lambda, S3, SageMaker Unified Studio, Airflow, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, VPC, IAM
Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless design patterns
Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and pipeline optimization
Familiarity with Snowflake and PostgreSQL for querying and integration purposes
Preferred
Experience in financial services or regulated industries is a plus
