Responsibilities
Take responsible charge of design on diverse infrastructure projects in water/wastewater treatment and conveyance, including QA/QC responsibility
Work collaboratively with teams across multiple office locations and support projects that may require occasional travel
Engage with infrastructure engineering experts across Tetra Tech’s broad U.S. geography
Assist Project Managers in developing business and demonstrating technical expertise to clients
Stay informed of new and innovative approaches to municipal wastewater and water infrastructure design
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
1–2 years of experience in civil engineering design, with emphasis on utilities (sewers, water mains, pump stations, site grading)
Engineer Intern (EI) certification required, with the goal of achieving Professional Engineer (PE) registration
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record that must be maintained throughout employment
Preferred
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software
Familiarity with municipal infrastructure standards and permitting processes
Prior experience supporting design or construction administration for public works or environmental projects
