Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field or 4 years of directly related work experience in lieu of a degree
2+ years of experience as a System Administrator or DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engaging with virtual or remote teams
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of AWS cloud platform
Basic knowledge of administration of Linux based operating systems
Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc)
Familiarity with cloud security best practices like encryption, access control and identity management
Understanding of security compliance, cloud security assessments and audits
Experience with security scanning tools, OS patching, and vulnerability remediation
IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with fully adjudicated Counter Intelligence (CI) Polygraph
Preferred
Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
Experience with container tools (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Basic understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or similar
