Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure
Design, maintain, and optimize SQL Server and Azure SQL databases, ensuring availability, performance, and security
Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and core infrastructure components
Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts or automation pipelines for deployment and monitoring
Design and manage backup and DR strategies using Azure Site Recovery, Veeam, or similar solutions
Enforce system hardening, patch management, and access control in alignment with IT security standards
Oversee system monitoring tools, analyze trends, and recommend proactive improvements
Lead IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth integration and minimal downtime
Provide guidance and training to junior administrators
Coordinate with vendors and manage technical support contracts
Execute advanced technical assignments and strategic IT initiatives as directed by management
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in system or cloud administration, including at least 2 years with Azure environments
Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure administration and hybrid environment integration
Proficiency in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and T-SQL scripting
Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management
Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation development
Solid understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations
Familiarity with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and network fundamentals
Experience with system security, patch management, and compliance processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science or MIS preferred); advanced degree a plus
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) required
Preferred
Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) or SQL Database Administrator certification (e.g., DP-300) preferred
