Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial trailers on-site
Perform mobile road calls and in-yard service, completing detailed work orders
Inspect, service, and repair trailer bodies, systems, and components
Conduct preventative maintenance on semi-trucks and trailers
Repair and replace hubs, axles, brakes, tires, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Perform welding/fabrication and other structural repairs
Ensure all equipment meets DOT safety and compliance requirements
Document repairs, inspections, and findings for management and billing
Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly to client needs
Qualification
Required
5+ years of proven trailer repair experience
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to lift 100+ lbs
Basic computer skills for repair order submission
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Must provide own tools and have reliable transportation
Preferred
Welding experience/certification
Technical school degree or training
Class A CDL
