Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator

They are seeking a Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator responsible for managing supplier relationships, creating purchase orders, and analyzing inventory trends to improve profitability.

Responsibilities
Source materials for service and sales operations
Work with sales reps to understand vendor order requirements - place orders accordingly
Create purchase and drop ship orders
Coordinate logistics to achieve delivery date requirements
Work with operations and accounting teams to define, write, and maintain standard operating procedures related to purchasing, supply chain, and inventory functions
Data analysis related to inventory and material trends
Work with vendors to resolve conflicts relating to products including returns and warranty submissions
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in business or a related field
1-2 years of purchasing or inventory management experience
An empathetic and positive personality to support others
Proven experience in office administration
Well versed in Microsoft Office - especially Outlook and Excel
An understanding of purchasing or business sales, inventory, and supply chain
A solutions-focused mindset that can easily adapt to ever-changing tasks
