Responsibilities
Perform preparatory activities such as framing, prepping by putting pin plies and breaking down of blocks to facilitate expansion
Expand blocks to required size per shop work order and record expanded size of block and cell size
Heat set blocks using programs per GWI
Fill out shop work order with press times, pin plies, material, and heat-set information
Record labor transactions in SAP
Record material usage and press times on shop work order
Perform scheduled machine PM’s as prescribed
Apply and practice 5S concept to maintain a safe and clean work environment
Transfer expanded blocks from B4 buffer area to B2 dipping area
Must be available to work overtime and weekends
Other duties may be assigned dependent on TGC business requirements
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma preferred
Forklift Certification a plus. Valid California Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Must be able to speak, read and write English
Must be able to lift, push & pull a minimum of 50 lbs
