Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive sales training and certification programs to elevate sales capabilities and commercial competencies
Develop and standardize sales methodologies and playbooks tailored to diverse customer segments
Deliver sales metrics, KPIs, and performance analytics to improve sales effectiveness and identify growth opportunities
Build and manage commercial analytics frameworks, forecasting models, and data visualization tools for real-time insights
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to define and optimize commercial strategies across global markets
Oversee CRM systems, pipeline management, and lead-tracking mechanisms to improve conversion rates and forecasting accuracy
Champion a continuous improvement culture, driving adoption of best practices and operational excellence across commercial teams
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between go-to-market strategies and overall business priorities and customer needs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred
10+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales excellence, or business strategy within the genomics, synthetic biology, or broader life sciences industry
Demonstrated success in driving commercial transformation and implementing scalable sales enablement programs
Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities with proficiency in CRM and data analytics tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across global teams

Preferred

MBA preferred
Experience in a publicly traded or growth-stage life science company strongly preferred
