Associate Product Architect
Origami Risk delivers single-platform SaaS solutions that help organizations navigate the complexities of risk, insurance, compliance, and safety management. The Associate Product Architect is responsible for designing and guiding the technical architecture of Origami’s SaaS products, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities
Supports technical design efforts across specific product or service areas
Assists in technical feasibility analysis and story refinement during ideation
Documents data flows, system behavior, and service boundaries
Translate s requirements into Jira story templates and support story grooming
Maintains API documentation and service contracts under guidance
Participates in POCs or research spikes to explore solutions
Collaborates with Solution Architects on system and service design
Documents legacy system behavior and assists in migration mapping
Tracks architectural deliverables and service maturity metrics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2 – 3 years of software development or technical implementation experience
Experience with Modern SQL
Experience in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS EKS, Lambda, EC2, and S3)
Familiarity with APIs, integration patterns, and agile workflows
Hands-on experience with software development and system administration
Strong understanding of the product domain
Experience in project management
Professional experience using C# / .NET required
Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
Preferred
Experience with NoSQL experience preferred
Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g., MySQL) preferred
Expertise and hands-on experience in cloud data capabilities and big data implementations preferred
Experience designing scalable API frameworks preferred
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies a plus
Experience with Single Page Applications (e.g., Angular or React) frameworks a plus
Experience with no/low code solutions for development
