Associate Scientific Director, Oncology CoE

This role involves researching, designing, and writing educational materials for life science professionals, ensuring content accuracy and engagement while collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities
Consulting with clients and subject matter experts inside and outside of RN to shape the design and development of content
Researching, learning, and distilling complex scientific information; and creating accessible training materials for the target audience
Incorporating sound instructional design and adult learning principles
Following RN and client editorial standards
Adhering to client processes and requirements; and medical, legal, and regulatory standards
Attending status calls and review meetings with client teams that may consist of members from Sales, Marketing, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory departments
Supporting your team and client during calls (eg, asking and answering questions, providing clarifications, providing solutions/options, etc, as needed)
Contributing to the development of RN’s solution design
Creating content outlines, scope estimates, etc
Participate in the development and delivery of sales presentations, including tasks such as Helping to build the sales presentation PowerPoint
Participating in live sales presentations; participation level could range from providing a brief introduction and description of your role to presenting several PowerPoint slides related to curriculum elements/content
Qualification
Required
BS/BA in a life science
3+ years of Pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or biotechnology sales training experience
Oncology experience
Teaching experience and/or education
Instructional design experience and/or education
Familiarity with clinical research principles
Experience writing in multimedia formats
Working knowledge of the American Medical Association style guide
Willingness and ability to research and interpret complex scientific information and communicate clearly to a sales representative audience
Navigate between multiple and changing projects, tasks, and deadlines
Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Positively accept and implement constructive feedback from internal and external sources
Meet deadlines; may occasionally require working extra hours/weekends to do so
Consistently project an upbeat, professional attitude and image
Occasionally travel to client meetings/events
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred
Advanced degree preferred (MA, MS, PhD, PharmD, MD)
