Responsibilities
Sell plumbing products to new and existing customers by building and maintaining customer relationships
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities
Determine source of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders
Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean
Respond to emergency situations, make recommendations and perform required repairs
Review building plan and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials
Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures, install supports and hangers, assemble and install valves and fittings, and test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams
Keep your company truck clean (inside and out), maintain inventory, and properly complete paperwork
Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements
Qualification
Required
Journeyman Licensed (Preferred but not a must) with knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications
2+ years of experience with service and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities
Experience with in-home sales a must
Personable and professional with a knack for diffusing messy situations and problem solving
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High integrity with the strong desire to be better tomorrow than you are today
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
