Responsibilities
Drives Requirements, Definition, Design, technology, platform, product, software, ecosystem, quality, and business functions
Responsible for Software Engineering and Business leadership and reports out regularly to executives on status, decisions, and solutions to issues during execution
Delivers on all program commitments, in alignment with the client or customer and Business Division objectives
Delivering on all program commitments from concept exit to product launch and reception
Program-level definition
Responsible for vetting or rejecting new business requests and sanctions scoping proposed or agreed upon changes by the core team
Owns driving core team to consensus on technical decisions that impact bounding box
Hitting cost, schedule, committed features, power, performance
Delivering overall messaging of status and issues to key internal and external stakeholders
Direct Client/Customer and Partner relationship management on some programs
Qualification
Required
Relevant working experience in software product development from product and/or program management disciplines
Experience both as a technical lead as well as a program manager
Strong understanding of the general software engineering process from conception to production
Experience with driving a multi-site and multi-disciplined engineering program
Ability to drive requirements, definition, design, technology, platform, product, software, ecosystem, quality, and business functions
Responsible for Software Engineering and Business leadership and reports out regularly to executives on status, decisions, and solutions to issues during execution
Deliver on all program commitments, in alignment with the client or customer and Business Division objectives

Proven leader, able to create and maintain a working cross functional team and skilled managing in a matrixed environment
Exceptional communications skills
Outstanding people management skills to lead, motivate, and guide world class engineers
Ability to scope a program from concept to production
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to network, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization
Highly organized, able to prioritize, and juggle multiple work streams to tight deadlines
MS degree desired
