Mid LevelMoon Cutter Co is seeking a Tool and Cutter Grind Lead Person. The role involves setting up and operating manual cutter grinding machines to sharpen milling cutters while maintaining accurate records and ensuring quality through proficient use of measurement tools.

Responsibilities
Perform various operations to inspect cutters, set up and operate manual cutter grinding machine to sharpen a variety of milling cutters, maintain records
Setup, operate, and maintain manual grinding equipment to obtain all work pieces to specifications
Review paperwork instructions and blueprints for accuracy before grinding tools
Be proficient in all measurement tools necessary for jobs required including but not limited to micrometer, blueprints, graphs, etc
Work with immediate Supervisor to plan smooth and efficient days maximizing both operator and machine time
Able to lift 40 lbs
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Other duties including but not limited to maintaining equipment and daily machine maintenance as well as assist in the general maintenance of the shop area and equipment instructed to keep a neat and orderly work area
Qualification
Required
Must have cutter grinding experience
Proficient in cutter grinding of radius and angles
Read all measuring equipment including but not limited to micrometer, caliper, and optical comparator
Setup, operate, and maintain manual grinding equipment to obtain all work pieces to specifications
Review paperwork instructions and blueprints for accuracy before grinding tools
Be proficient in all measurement tools necessary for jobs required including but not limited to micrometer, blueprints, graphs, etc
Work with immediate Supervisor to plan smooth and efficient days maximizing both operator and machine time
Able to lift 40 lbs
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
