They are seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer to support government clients in the aviation industry, focusing on process and implementation engineering tasks while contributing to the systems engineering life cycle.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of process and implementation engineering tasks for government clients in the aviation industry
Collaborate with various stakeholders to install and test the network, hardware, and software components of air traffic and aviation systems
In addition to implementation responsibilities, be a part of all phases of the systems engineering life cycle including requirements development, design, and test
Self-manage work assignments, contribute to quality, on-time deliverables, make identifiable contributions to customer success
Contribute to project direction and foster collaboration
Contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and develop cooperative working relationships
Contribute to a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment and participate in knowledge sharing opportunities

Qualification

Implementation experienceAviation systems knowledgeMS Excel proficiencyTechnical communication skillsLeadership abilitiesTeam collaboration

Required

Bachelor's Degree in engineering preferably mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering
Ten years of relevant experience
Process engineer or implementation experience
High level of proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office products
Strong verbal and written communication and technical skills
Ability to take on leadership or advisory roles to help the program achieve deadlines and goals
Ability to work in a team environment and work with other implementation and systems engineers to bring the system to life
Ability to travel frequently domestically
Desire to have a technical background in air traffic and aviation systems

Preferred

Master's Degree is desired
