Production/ Assembler
Riddell is a company that specializes in hard goods athletic equipment, and they are seeking a Production/Assembler to assist in the assembly and disassembly of various component parts. The role involves monitoring the reconditioning process, performing inspections, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities
Monitors all phases of the reconditioning process
Performs routine checks and visual, in-process inspections
Receives work assignments from the Production Supervisor
Assists in resolving minor in-process issues
Reads, understands, and interprets customer contracts and special requirements
Operates the necessary equipment to verify compliance with quality standards
Follows work instructions/specifications to determine required assembly, exterior finish on a product and any special options
Examines assembly and connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies following work instructions/specifications
Reports any assembly problems/issues to the supervisor for evaluation and resolution
Provides information for the completion of reconditioning production reports
Maintains a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies
Operates and uses all equipment following standard work instructions and operating procedures
Observes all safety rules and regulations
Exercises care and good judgment at all times to prevent accidents and injuries
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, rules and BRG Code of Conduct
Practices good housekeeping by keeping work area, neighboring areas, and aisles clean and accessible
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Authorized to work in the U.S
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
Ability to effectively relate with others and cooperate as a team member
Ability to perform essential functions and responsibilities of the job with some supervision
Must be flexible
Careful attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations within the organization
Ability to rely on judgment for personal safety regarding work
Ability to write simple correspondence
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds at a time
Sufficient hand, eye, arm, and finger dexterity to assemble helmets
Must wear safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas
Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking while also performing repetitive tasks
Prolonged periods of bending/twisting throughout a work shift
