Engineering Change Analyst

The Engineering Change Analyst will be responsible for administering and maintaining the engineering change management process, ensuring product definition and documentation accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Administer and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), deviations, and other change requests in the PLM system and ERP Systems (PD Cloud, Smart Sheets, Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle)
Ensure changes are properly reviewed, approved, and released according to company procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation, including BOMs, drawings, specifications, and part numbers
Coordinate with engineering, project managers, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to assess the impact of changes and ensure smooth implementation
Track change implementation status and report progress, risks, and bottlenecks
Provide guidance to engineers, project managers, and operations staff on change process requirements and best practices
Support part number creation, description, revision control, and lifecycle management
Assist in identifying alternate or replacement parts to mitigate supply chain or obsolescence risks
Assist in the design and definition of IT Enclosures and other ICT Systems
Work closely with engineers, technical support, project and product management, sales and manufacturing teams to ensure changes align with customer and business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering related field or equivalent experience
2–4 years of technical, product/service, directly related experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems
Working experience with ERP, PLM systems (preferably PD Cloud, Smart Sheets, Oracle ERP and Microsoft Dynamics)
Strong knowledge of BOM structures, engineering documentation, and revision control
Experience designing or working with 3D modeling Software (preferably Creo or Autodesk Inventor)
Mechanical aptitude or experience with mechanical systems
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and data management skills
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Strong project-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
