Responsibilities
Assist in planning and designing bridge structures to ensure structural reliability, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
Conduct and support In-Service Bridge Inspectors in the inspection, documentation, and quantification of deficient bridge elements
Perform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Develop engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, cost estimates, surveys, and designs
Develop CAD drawings and Collaborate with CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and Engineers to support project delivery
Contribute to quality and continuous improvement through innovative thinking and creative problem-solving
Build and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required
Typically 1+ years of related work experience in bridge or structural engineering
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or other relevant certifications may be required
Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software tools is essential
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
