People Coordinator

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in Workday, ensuring all joiners, movers, and leavers are correctly processed
Respond to employee queries received via the central mailbox in a timely and professional manner, escalating where appropriate
Coordinate with internal teams to deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience for new joiners, ensuring all federal forms and compliance requirements are met
Provide clear and accurate HR advice to employees, explaining policies and procedures and escalating to People Business Partners when necessary
Prepare and issue employment-related letters and documentation as required
Support ad-hoc HR projects as requested by the People team
Collaborate with HR Operations colleagues in both the US and UK, primarily supporting US teams
Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes to enhance efficiency and the employee experience

Required

Previous HR administrative experience
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Experience using an HR system (Workday experience highly desirable)
Basic understanding of payroll processes
General knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
Strong administrative and organizational skills, with great attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritize effectively, work at pace, and meet tight deadlines
Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
