The Maintenance Technician Intern will assist in inspecting, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing diesel-powered equipment and vehicles while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Assist Maintenance Technician in the performance of inspecting, trouble shooting, servicing, and repairing of equipment and vehicles
Basic cleaning and servicing of vehicles
Provides exceptional customer service to all constituents, including but not limited to, faculty, staff, students, visitors and the community at large

Qualification

Diesel equipment servicingCustomer serviceTroubleshootingVerbal communicationWritten communication

Required

A high school diploma or GED
Must be a student in and have a recommendation from the HGTC diesel program
Pass background check, drug screening and submit to future random drug screenings
A valid driver's license
