Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage secure LAN/WAN architectures for a DoD/Navy environment

Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls

Maintain security configuration compliance and risk management in accordance with DoD/Navy policies

Enhance network security and performance using Cisco and Juniper networking technologies

Implement and optimize VoIP solutions

Conduct network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization

Ensure mission-critical availability by maintaining cable plant design and network infrastructure installations

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline

7+ years of professional experience in relation to design and implementation in local area network (LAN)/ wide area network (WAN) corporate environments using: Cisco, Juniper, TCP/IP and VoIP technologies with routers, switches, fiber optics, firewalls and cable plant designs

IAT III certification such as CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CASP or equivalent
