Ardurra is seeking a Senior Water Resources Stream Designer to join their Watershed Practice. The role is responsible for designing stream restoration and stabilization projects that improve watershed health and support ecological balance, collaborating with engineers and ecologists to develop sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

Design stream restoration, stabilization, and enhancement projects using geomorphic and ecological principles
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS tools
Prepare construction documents including plan sets, grading plans, erosion/sediment control plans, and technical specifications
Conduct site evaluations and assist in environmental impact assessments
Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative watershed planning and stormwater management solutions
Assist in field inspections, data collection, and site assessments
Participate in public outreach, stakeholder engagement, and project presentations as needed

Required

Bachelors in Civil, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture or related disciplines
Approximately 8 or more years of experience in water resources and stream restoration or stabilization
Design stream restoration, stabilization, and enhancement projects using geomorphic and ecological principles
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS tools
Prepare construction documents including plan sets, grading plans, erosion/sediment control plans, and technical specifications
Conduct site evaluations and assist in environmental impact assessments
Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative watershed planning and stormwater management solutions
Assist in field inspections, data collection, and site assessments

Preferred

Exposure to stormwater modeling software (HEC-RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD), AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS applications is a plus
PE certification (or ability to obtain within one year) is preferred but not required
