Intern - Information Technology
The Port of Virginia is seeking an Information Technology intern to document network design for Operational Technology and Information Technology segmentation. The role involves developing testing parameters and creating documentation to ensure network security, supporting the integrity of the port's infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Obtain knowledge of network security in Operational Technology (OT) environments
Develop professional documentation skills for technical processes
Practice effective team communication in a collaborative setting
Configure, deploy, and test equipment for the North NIT Optimization Project
Support the team in troubleshooting network issues
Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to enhance technical and professional skills
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled and in an accredited program or graduate program (having completed freshman / first year) during the time of the program
Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from June 1, 2026 to July 24, 2026
Must attach a resume and cover letter
